Procurement and PPIC Manager Job (Steel Industry), Cikarang, Bekasi

Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading national group of companies that supply steel products. With more than 25 years of experience in the steel industry, this group is currently expanding its capacity and capabilities in response to Indonesia’s expanding economy.
Our client is seeking a self-motivated and reliable Procurement & PPIC Manager to manage, plan and monitor procurement, timeline, sourcing of materials and production processes to support the company’s projects and work orders. The winning candidate will be based at the Head Office and Factory in Bekasi, Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. The winning candidate will have at least ten years’ experience, including a minimum of four years in a similar managerial position or as a supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Prepare prefabrication workshop production plan and schedule
Examine the need for material required for projects and work orders
Calculate data reports for prefabrication workshop production and check inventory and production tools
Ensure the production process corresponds to the right quality
Ensure that the material being process and the corresponding data is well documented
Check the condition of the material in order to determine the estimated length of the production process
Ensure the right material and the right quantities have been prepared for the production process
Create a production schedule according to the schedule that has been specified in the contract
Works independently and reports directly to project manager
Requirements:
Civil engineering degree, Master’s preferred
Four years’ experience in PPIC Management role
Experience in supply chain and procurement is a MUST
Experience working in steel fabrication industry, associated qualifications preferred
Steel construction experience
Fluent English, both written and verbal
